Materials Needed
To make the Long Neck Animal Bag Charms , prepare the following materials. Using different yarn or hook sizes may change the final size of your charms.
- Crochet Hook: 2.00–2.50 mm (or a size suitable for your yarn to create tight amigurumi stitches).
- Yarn: Fine or sport weight yarn in multiple colors depending on the animal:
- Donkey: Blue, white, black, brown
- Cow: Pink, white, black, brown
- Pig: Light pink, dark pink, rose pink, brown, white
- Pink Leopard: Yellow, rose pink, brown, white
- Tiger: Orange-yellow, brown, white
- Safety Eyes:
- 4mm (Donkey, Pink Leopard, Tiger)
- 5 mm (Pig)
- 6 mm (Cow)
(Eyes can also be embroidered if preferred.)
- Shaping Wire:
- 1.5 mm wire pieces for the neck structure
- 0.3 mm wire for reinforcing the Cow's ears
- Tapestry Needle: For sewing parts and weaving in ends.
- Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill or similar amigurumi stuffing.
- Scissors: For cutting yarn and trimming details.
Optional: Blush for cheeks, black thread for facial embroidery, and stitch markers to track rounds.
